Fundamentals of Geospatial Technologies Workshop for High School Educators
The Geospatial Information Sciences (GIS) program at UT Dallas is offering a workshop on Fundamentals of Geospatial Technologies Workshop for High School Educators from June 16th to 18th.
The summer GIS Workshop at UTD will introduce participants with the basic theoretical and hands-on experience with geospatial technologies, focusing on applications in urban planning, environmental management, and crime analysis. Participants will learn to gather and visualize spatial data using industry-standard software. The workshop will also provide opportunities for networking and collaboration with GIS professionals, researchers, and students.
