Deciding on Economics

I decided to major in economics after taking a Principles of Microeconomics class. I found the class very interesting and loved that economics deals with how the world and people work.

My EPPS Success

The key to being successful in EPPS is making friends! Creating study groups and asking others for help led me to succeed in all my classes. Growing your network also helped me come across new opportunities. So, don’t be scared to introduce yourself to the person sitting next to you.

Plans for the Future

I plan on, hopefully, getting an internship related to my economics degree somewhere in the Dallas area. I also hope to travel over more parts of Europe.

Advice to Prospective EPPS Students

My advice to other students is to enjoy your time at UTD and take advantage of everything EPPS has to offer. There are plenty of opportunities for every major so make sure to talk to your counselor every semester and see what is being offered.
