Taiwan’s Ministry of Education launched the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) to encourage more international students to participate in short-term professional internship projects organized by Taiwanese universities and colleges. TEEP also allows international students to gain an in-depth educational experience in Taiwan, while also preparing themselves for the Asian job market.
All TEEP programs are approved and guided by Taiwan Ministry of Education (MOE), and must comply with laws and regulations to ensure education quality and also the basic rights and safety of all students. Each participant is eligible to receive a monthly stipend (maximum New Taiwan Dollar $15,000) based on MOE regulations and program rules.
TEEP participants will be placed in a laboratory, research unit, enterprise or elementary/secondary school, and provided with opportunities to attend seminars, Chinese language courses and cultural activities to enhance their professional capabilities.
Bachelors, masters and PhD students with foreign nationality who are studying in foreign colleges and universities and whose specialty meet the core strategic industries can apply.
Interns will receive NTD $1,000 subsidy (approximately USD $30) per day for an internship period ranging from 28 to 90 days.
Applicants must apply no later than Sept. 15, 2025.
