Sustainability

Sustainability is more than a concept; it’s a call to action and a roadmap to a better future. At EPPS, we prepare the next generation of problem-solvers to lead at the vital intersection of environmental protection, economic prosperity, and social responsibility. As the world confronts challenges such as climate change, rapid urbanization, and resource management, our sustainability program equips students with the tools to turn bold ideas into practical solutions.

Students engage with the pressing issues shaping our time, including clean energy transitions, sustainable urban development, climate resilience, and responsible resource use. Through a dynamic, interdisciplinary lens, they explore policy analysis, environmental economics, and innovative strategies for addressing global concerns. In the process, they develop both the analytical expertise and forward-thinking mindset needed to drive meaningful impact.

The Sustainability Planning and Policy degree offers flexible pathways at the Bachelor’s and Master’s (coming Fall 2026) levels, allowing students to tailor their academic journey while connecting sustainability with science, governance, and community development. Our graduates won’t just understand sustainability—they will exemplify it, entering the world as leaders, policy thinkers, and innovators ready to help build a thriving future.

I’ve always had an interest in politics and law throughout my life growing up. I enjoy reading articles on current events centering around those categories as well as on an international level, it helps having a much open-minded perspective of the world and what is going on.
