Archie Nettles Jr BS’11, MPA’18

The UT Dallas Awards Gala is an annual event, held to honor individuals who have made a significant impact on the university. The Green and Orange Award honors “UT Dallas graduates and friends who have provided faithful support and service to the University”.

Nettles is a development officer at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, where he works to advance the center’s programming and fundraising needs by building relationships across the North Texas region. He was selected as the 2018-19 Texas Instruments Founders Leadership Fellow by the UT Dallas Office of Development and Alumni Relations, and subsequently worked as assistant director of development for the Naveen Jindal School of Management. Prior to his work in development, Nettles served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, and later worked as a veteran liaison at UT Dallas.

The award is a well-deserved recognition of Nettles’ hard work and dedication, and it highlights the important role that he, and other alumni, play in the success of UT Dallas.
