Fast Track Program

Requirements to Take Graduate Courses

Undergraduate students desiring to take graduate courses must:

  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.20 (overall and in the major) from UTD;
  • Have earned a minimum of 90 credit hours;
  • Be approved by both the Fast Track Coordinator and the EPPS Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education.

Fast Track Completion Requirements for Entry to Graduate Program

To qualify for Fast Track admission into an EPPS master’s program, students must:

  • Complete a minimum of 6 hours (maximum of 15 hours) of graduate course work approved by the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and the Graduate Program Head;
  • Complete all graduate course work taken as an undergraduate with a grade of B or higher in each course;
  • Graduate from UTD with a minimum GPA of 3.2 (overall and in the major).
