On April 18, the University of Texas at Dallas, recognized eight exceptional faculty members during the 2024 Investiture Ceremony, where their newly endowed titles were officially unveiled. These titles, such as endowed chairs and professorships, represent the highest academic accolades at the university. Supported by philanthropic contributions, these endowments provide esteemed faculty with resources to advance their scholarly work and research. Among the honorees, Dean Holmes, proudly representing the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences received a medallion from President Benson in acknowledgment of her accomplishments.
She fondly reminisces about the pivotal role Dr. Brian Berry, one of her predecessors, played in her professional growth when she initially joined UTD in 1998.
