UT Dallas Degree: BA – Criminology, 2011
Profession: Real Estate Finance Paralegal at Winstead PC, representing lenders in commercial loan transactions.

My Work

I review title reports and surveys, prepare UCC borrower’s counsel, and assist with all aspects of loan closings. Additionally, I have assisted in acquisition and development of single and multi-family residential, commercial land and property management. I have worked with city, county, and state authorities on developments agreements, zoning changes and issues, blanket easement amendments and releases, and PID and MUD creation.

The Value of My Degree

Having a college degree opened doors for me that would not have been possible without it. In addition to having the paper, the college experience taught me to think more openly and consider many sides and aspects of current world issues.

My EPPS Success

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from UT Dallas. What contributed to my success was that I was determined, focused and treated my studies as a full-time job. I have to add that Dr. Sarah Maxwell was extremely instrumental in my success by helping me through some difficult semesters with her words of encouragement at “just the right time!” I miss her! I think it was the combination that allowed my hard work to pay off with a 4.0.
