How did you decide on your major?

I chose to study IPE with a minor in Ethnic studies because of my interest in and connection to global affairs and social justice. As someone who comes from a diverse cultural background, I am drawn to the intricate relationships between politics and ethnic and cultural diversity. This academic path has equipped me with the knowledge to continue advocating for inclusivity and understanding as global dynamics continue to evolve.

My EPPS Success

I think a huge part of my success at EPPS has been my level of campus involvement. Campus involvement is so important to our academic success, but it is equally as important to find balance. Finding the perfect level of involvement that aligned with my academic workload and personal well-being was a game changer. The goal has always been to gather as many diverse experiences as possible without overextending myself.

Plans for the Future

My immediate goals for the future are to further my education through a Masters in either Non-Profit Management or Public Policy. I then intend to pursue a career in either of those fields. Looking forward to continuing my academic journey to further my understanding of the intersection of identity, power, and economic systems.
