Public Affairs is an interdisciplinary degree that is poised for significant growth.  It prepares students with the training that is necessary to be successful in management or policy analysis.  Graduates have a firm understanding of financial, human resource, and organizational concepts that apply at professional levels of public and non-profit organizations.
 
Public Affairs majors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their junior year can take, through the University’s Fast-Track Program, courses that work towards their Masters in Public Affairs.  Students with Public Affairs degrees tend to find employment opportunities in government, non-profit organization, business, social agencies, education, and community development.
