The Public Affairs Program is an interdisciplinary program in education, research, and practice that integrates the traditions of public management, policy analysis, and decision science with the challenges of maintaining and building institutions of governance in a complex society.

The Program includes some of the top academics and practitioners in their fields and was the editorial home of Public Administration Review.

The degrees and certificate sponsored by the Program emphasize the integration and application of theory to practice and they prepare individuals for careers in city, county, state, and federal government, nonprofit organizations, consulting firms, and businesses affected by public policy.
